Merit Chinese School was established by Mrs. Siu Marr in 1987. Mrs. Marr is the first
Principal and Founder of Merit Chinese School.
In 1994, Principal Marr and a group of enthusiastic parents formed the first School Board.
Merit Chinese School was registered as a 501(c)(3) organization. The school was then managed by the School Board which represents the parents and the Principal who leads the
teaching team.
All Directors are parent-volunteers who have donated endless time and effort to run the
school. The School would like to use this "Credit Page" to honor the contribution of all previous and present Directors. Also, warmest gratitude goes to the previous and
present Principals for their hard work and dedication to Merit Chinese School.
